Manicure/Pedicure!

OK, so yesterday I got my nails done for the very first time, like, ever. Just a clear coat to finish, sorry. We were going out with Alexander to a BBQ, and he was going to get his nails done first, so I went with him. It was $35 and it was so worth it. My nails were a total mess, but the lady (whose name I did not find out; there was a language barrier, I think, and she might not have been used to working on men? Dunno.) did a really good job of cleaning them up. I couldn’t believe how much crud she fished out of my big toes! I knew they were dirty, but I had no idea they were that bad.

The experience was very relaxing and I can totally understand why so many women love this. It really is a treat. Alexander went all-out and had his nails coloured, and even got some nice detail work done with some flowers and sparkles. Very nice! He’s so un-self-conscious (if that’s a word). He likes to look good (and he does). Maybe next time I should get the flowers. And yes, there definitely will be a next time. I can’t see myself doing this a lot, but it was SO relaxing and felt so nice to have someone pampering my feet that I’m hooked. :)

And yeah, I know...how girly, right? Well, I do feel kinda girly after having this done. And you know what? I like it. And there's nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all.
